Important Information for all "Mail In" Exhibitors

We are very pleased that you will be participating in this years event in Dürnstein Abbey.

Wir freuen uns sehr, dass Sie an der diesjährigen Veranstaltung im Stift Dürnstein teilnehmen werden.

Here you will find all necessary information regarding the "Mail In your artwork" process:

Hier finden Sie alle notwendigen Informationen zum "Mail In your artwork"-Verfahren:

1) DO NOT mail us the artwork yet. We will send out an Email to each exhibitor, when we are able to receive the artwork from you. so PLEASE WAIT till we give you the OK to send it to us. We will likely ask you to mail your painting / artwork (+ -) 14 days prior of the exhibition.

1) Schicken Sie uns Ihr Gemälde erst, wenn wir Sie kontaktieren. Wir werden eine E-Mail an jeden Aussteller senden, wenn wir soweit sind, um Ihr Bild entgegen zu nehmen. Aber rechnen Sie bitte mit einem Versand 14 Tage vor Veranstaltungsbeginn

2) IF you selected the "Mail In" option, but want to drop off the artwork in person, you can do so. BUT DO NOT bring the artwork before June 15th. You can bring it directly to Dürnstein Abbey. We'll take the artwork and handle the rest for you, meaning installation and disassembly.

2) Wenn Sie das "Mail In Program" gewählt haben, aber die Kunstwerke persönlich abgeben möchten, können Sie dies tun. Bringen Sie das Kunstwerk jedoch NICHT vor dem 15. Juni. Sie können die Gemälde / Skulpturen, etc. direkt zum Stift Dürnstein bringen. Wir nehmen das Kunstwerk entgegen und kümmern uns um den Rest, d.h. die Montage und Demontage.

3) We need to approve each painting for the installation. DO NOT send us any artwork, which was not on the application. If you want to send us a different painting, then Email us a picture (you can also send me a picture through whatsapp to +43 660 6104466).

3) Wir müssen jedes Bild für die Installation genehmigen. Schicken Sie uns KEINE Kunstwerke, die nicht in der Bewerbung enthalten sind. Wenn Sie uns ein anderes Bild schicken wollen, dann mailen Sie uns ein Bild (Sie können mir auch ein Bild per Whatsapp an +43 660 6104466 schicken).

4) Each exhibitor MUST include a Biography on a laminated A4 sheet. Please put some effort in it, this space represents you as a professional artist.

The bio should also include the following:

Your contact info (Tel.#, social media name, webpage and Email).

Include payment instructions: WE DO NOT TAKE A COMMISSION from the sale of your painting. Please write in detail on how the customer can get in touch with you & pay you directly (Paypal, wire transfer, etc.).

4) Jeder Aussteller MUSS eine Biografie auf einem laminierten A4-Blatt einreichen. Bitte geben Sie sich etwas Mühe, denn dieser Bereich repräsentiert Sie als professionellen Künstler.

Die Biografie sollte außerdem Folgendes enthalten:

Ihre Kontaktdaten (Tel.-Nr., Name der sozialen Medien, Webseite und E-Mail).

Fügen Sie Zahlungsanweisungen bei: Wir nehmen keine Provision für den Verkauf Ihres Bildes. Bitte geben Sie detailliert an, wie der Kunde mit Ihnen in Kontakt treten und Sie direkt bezahlen kann (Paypal, Überweisung, etc.).

5) If your artwork is for sale, please include Price Tags (we suggest that you laminate them as well, they just look nicer).

5) Wenn Ihr Kunstwerk zum Verkauf steht, fügen Sie bitte Preisschilder bei (wir empfehlen Ihnen, diese ebenfalls zu laminieren, sie sehen einfach schöner aus).

6) If your artwork sells at the event, we are more than happy to help you with the transaction. If you are waiting for payment from the buyer, we can hold on to the artwork till you give us the OK to deliver/ hand over the artwork to the buyer. We are here to help you as much as we can.

6) Wenn Ihr Kunstwerk auf der Veranstaltung verkauft wird, sind wir Ihnen gerne bei der Abwicklung behilflich. Wenn Sie auf die Bezahlung vom Käufer warten, können wir das Kunstwerk aufbewahren, bis Sie uns das OK geben, das Kunstwerk an den Käufer zu liefern/zu übergeben.

7) All artwork (if not sold) will be returned to the exhibitor IN THE BOX IT CAME IN.

7) Alle Kunstwerke (falls nicht verkauft) werden dem Aussteller in dem Paket zurückgegeben, in der sie geliefert wurden.

8) If you are outside of the EU and would like to participate, it is your responsibility to know the law to import artwork to the EU for exhibition purpose.

8) Wenn Sie außerhalb der EU leben und teilnehmen möchten, müssen Sie sich über die gesetzlichen Bestimmungen für die Einfuhr von Kunstwerken in die EU zu Ausstellungszwecken informieren.

9) Placement of your artwork at the event: Your artwork will ONLY be placed in the interior of the exhibition / Abbey. We also have the courtyard available, but that space is only for exhibitors, who are on site. Your artwork will be placed in one of the festival halls. There is no "better" spot, as all artwork will be spread throughout the exhibition.

9) Platzierung Ihres Kunstwerks während der Veranstaltung: Ihr Kunstwerk wird NUR in den Innenräumen der Ausstellung platziert. Wir haben auch den Innenhof zur Verfügung, aber diese Plätze sind nur für Aussteller, die vor Ort sind. Ihr Kunstwerk wird in einem der Festsäle ausgestellt. Es gibt keinen "besseren" Platz, da alle Kunstwerke über die gesamte Ausstellung verteilt werden.

10) Please make sure you have all hardware installed for hanging the artwork. Please see the picture below:

10) Bitte vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie alle Beschläge zum Aufhängen des Kunstwerks installiert haben. Bitte sehen Sie das Bild unten:

Each wall measures 2,20 meter tall x 1,0 meter wide as shown below:
